Dublin State situation reports

The Dublin Association Agreement plays a significant role in Switzerland’s asylum system. We have excellent links with European refugee organisations and asylum experts and monitor the asylum policy situation in the Dublin states.

Italy is of particular interest. We have carried out several fact-finding missions in this country since 2010 and have been monitoring persons transferred to Italy since 2016. The Swiss Refugee Council reports, and those prepared in cooperation with other refugee-support organisations can be found here.
